The current Doctor Who E-Mail RPG is set in The Death Zone on The Doctor's home planet of Gallifrey. If you haven't seen the story "The Five Doctors", you might want to check it out.

When players joined the game they were sent details of their character's ability scores and equipment, as well as their starting position within The Death Zone. All they had to do then was reply with their chosen course of action and the game started to unfold.

A few of the elements from "The Five Doctors" are included in the game, but there are several twists to keep it more interesting! Players have to discover the object of the game for themselves if they want to win... but be careful because as they might die in the attempt!
